Hi Ed,
Well there are cows and then there are COWS (Contractor Operated Wire
Surveilance).  The COWS here on Lake Wylie regularly patrol my cul-de-sac
with those Power Company line trucks (monsterous cows) looking for power
line problems, so my  beverage  is at 13 ft, for clearance (with little
pink ribbon flags a flying) and as the beverage goes away from the lake
it joins the topography at a respectable 8 ft height.  Gotta do what you
gotta do.
