Hi gian luca,
                     I had the same problem with noise on 80m and 160,but
mainly 80m.
I have had for sometime the mfj 1025 and it really works very well here.

It does take a little time to get used to using it but now i can eliminate
or heavily reduce noise without even thinking about it.
