[TowerTalk] Roof top towers

For who ever cares, this is what I've decided to do about the thrust bearing
on my GME RT-1832:

1.	Take K7LXC's advice and not blow the dough on a thrust bearing
2.	Make a coller that will snugly fit my mast, and bolt to the top of
my tower.
3.	The coller will either be made of a block of oak with a the
necessary holes drilled in it and coated with polyurathane (aka Pete Smith &
Rohn), or I'll machine one out of a 1" thick block of aluminum that I just
found (since I've got access to a mill).

Thanks for all the advice.

How about a Rohn TB3 for $78.57 plus shipping?
