[TowerTalk] Tower in the attic!

I'll bet these fellas that have something like described here really do
enjoy a lot of noise at night while trying to sleep with a high wind
whistling through this contraption and all the vibrations set up as well.
Probably sounds like being on a sailing ship in a gale! I used to have a
HyGain 20/40 Duobander on top of the house and it was hell at night in the
wind.

If putting up an aerial like this is the only alternative, the first effort
should be a visit to to the real estate pages of the local newspaper to find
some better location where a decent tower not attached to the house can be
installed.
