Jim,

I know one guy who ran 2500 Watts to a 40-2CD, admittedly for a few minutes 
and guess what happened? The LCA loading coils got hot, started to melt and 
the ends of the antenna drooped downward permanently! I guess we know where 
the weak spot in the 40-2CD are located!
