I think there might be a bit of confusion here. "silver solder", as it's
commonly used, is a high temperature process akin to brazing. There is
also available, on the market, a low temp solder containing silver. It's
commonly called "silver bearing solder". It's my understanding that this
solder produces a stronger and more weather resistant joint than
conventional
tin-lead solders.
