Apparently this is the case. We are in a migration area. The fact that
most people on this list seem to disagree with me on the bird kill
situation, and I know it to be true over the last 20+ years I've been
around it, says it is a factor. It has been speculated that most of the
kills here occur at night. I have no clue whether they are attracted by
lights or not, but it would certainly add to the problem if they were.
Wind is also listed as a factor in the discussion.
I'd be curious to know how the 2k foot tower near here does for snagging
birds.
