Having not torn the Telrex Balun apart it sounds like the W6TC baluns I
have made 2.5 turns RG-213 and 2.5 turns #14 insulated wire. This
appeared in a Ham Radio mag years ago and published (short form in NCDX
monthly newslatter)

Bead baluns were also mentioned though some comments against them were
also received.

One comment referenced a TH6/TH7 discussion that correct balun is
important to maintain antenna performance and not move the freq curve.
