If you want to see what difference 0.1w, 1w, 10w and 100w makes on CW,
listen to one of the beacon frequencies. For those of you who might not
know, they are transmitted from different parts of the world on a frequent
and regular schedule on all of the amateur bands (I think). Probagation
effects at the different power levels are pretty much taken out of the
picture because the different power levels are transmitted within a few
seconds of each other.
