Chuck makes a number of good points (ease of computing in particular), and
if Yaesu had left the K factor as it was I wouldn't have said anything.
However, when they added in the mast weight, they threw things out of
kilter.  Do you really need a G-2800 (their largest rotator) to turn a C-3
on a 55 lb mast?  According to the new K factor, you do!
