[TowerTalk] Best antenna switch ?

Hi Zoli,

I made a 2 radio antenna switch network out of a bank of Diawa
2 position switches. These measured 80 to 90 dB isolation on a
network analyzer at HF. I think they also make a 4 position
switch, but I have no experience with it.

The only caveat I found with the Diawa switches is that the staking
epoxy they use to keep the copper ribbon switch contact from
rotating on the SO-239s, tends to break loose causing the contact
to rotate and the switch to malfunction. This can easily be fixed
by restaking with epoxy. I used a dab of JB weld on the one switch
I had trouble with. This has held up fine with 1.5KW RF output.
