Don of Alpha Data is correct that its hard to test the isolation in various
coax switches without several thousand dollars of lab equipment.   I can
speak for the HOFI switches and the later ESCO switches we sold at Dayton
several years ago and they are tested at 70DB isolation.   Even the cheaper
(and old) Heathkit switches test out at 40 to 45DB.

You look for two things in a coax switch.  Isolation and loss at 30Mhz and
perhaps 150Mhz.   With a good quality switch you can gain
a 1+ DB advantage for a low cost.   Forget about the grounding ability
because if it takes a direct hit its useless anyway.   Get one of the
inexpensive static drain units and if in doubt unhook the coax or hardline!
