First off, I cannot imagine the need to step down from 1.5 inches
to .625 inches in a 10 meter beam.

I don't know about others, but I have found EZNEC step down has a
tendency to make the beam much lower in frequency. I routinely
now plan then using about
150-100 kHz above where I want them.

If you're really scaping the bottom of the barrel, may I suggest
20 foot lengths of 3/4" copper from Home Depot or the like? Cost
about $5.50 each
