If your using a fishing rod to throw the line over the tree, get an old
sparkplug, close the gap and tie to it.  Plenty of weight, you can throw it
a mile.  Just be careful of your aim.  If it hangs in a tree (not often) no
real loss, and it will confirm what your neighbors already believe about
you.
