The "A" can be computer controlled as long as you have a UX-14 installed.
Good luck trying to fin one if it is not included.
The front end of the "A" seems to hold up much better. I have found the "A"
quite good in a multi-multi contest environment. I have found the non-A to
fall apart in a contest - strong adjacent signals overload the receiver.
Also the onboard switching supply, if included, seems to be quiet. It's a
great dxpedition radio.
