[TowerTalk] Cleaning Aluminum Eelements

Hi Gang,
My thoughts are
1)  The mating surfaces need to be clean.  ie: The inside of the larger 
element tubing.
2)  Re:  RF observes the skin effect and only 
 travels on the outside of the conductor.   I think it travels on the outside 
of the solid mass of the material(conductor).  RF probably doesn't know if 
it's on the outside or the inside of a tube.
