[TowerTalk] TOWER ACCIDENT

 A very sad incident.  I can't get with the "victim
 bashing" thread!  These were guys with families and
 were apparently trying to do a favor for a friend. 
 It doesn't matter whether they were CB'ers, hams, or
 professionals.  Maybe it was human error and maybe
 some type of mechanical failure.  If you think only
 "dumb CB'ers" make catastrophic mistakes, check out

 the collapse of a 1500 TV tower while being erected
 with the loss of several lives and the complete
 destruction of the tower and transmitter building.
 This was being build by professionals.
 Spring is almost here and I have tower work to do
 myself.  Lets all be safe and sensible, I don't want
 to read any more stories like this!
