I am in the process of putting up a MA-770. It is true that their catalog
shows 50 MPH ratings, but the permit package I received from them was for 70
MPH. I'm not sure how critical this is anyway since a crank-up (at least
mine) would probably be down if we got anywhere near a storm that strong.
I do not look forward to replacing the cable. I haven't checked into this
myself, but it does seem a bit odd that they don't provide any support on
this since they recommend replacing the cable every three years. That
interval is probably overkill for liability reasons. If so, it seems like a
catch-22. You have to replace the cable, but we can't help you do it. It
seems like that might create a liability problem itself.
