[TowerTalk] rotor mods

I tried an experiment with one of my gate side mounts on
Rohn 25 with a 4 el
15 and a 4 el 10 mounted 6 feet above it. Rotator was a Ham
4, I believe.
Since I sometimes have guest ops, I assumed one of them
would run the gate
full blast right into the tower . . . so I did it myself to
see what would
happen. Nothing happened . . . except that the gate stopped
suddenly and the
rotator stalled. I then reversed the rotator and ran it
into the tower going
the opposite direction. No problems. I concluded that for
that
configuration, at least, no limit switches were required.
