Sounds like a good explanation to me, Bud. My rotor is just below
a single thrust bearing in the Rohn 25 flat top section, with a KT-34XA
andCushcraft 40-2CD above it. We had a big windstorm last week. It could
have happened while the wind was blowing and the beams were rocking
back and forth. Thanks for the explanation! Now I'll wait and see if
it happens again. Next time I redo all that stuff up there, I'll put
the rotator further down, even if I have to cut a diagonal.
