Sounds like the "pulses" from the motor unit are not getting back to the
controller. Double check the wiring, especially make sure you have no
intermittent connections on the sensor lines - bypass isolators or MOVs to
test. If all seems okay you may have a bad reed relay in the motor unit.

Finally trying to set up my 2800. When I try to turn the rotor in
manual mode to verify cw and ccw, the rotor only moves a couple of
degrees and then stops even though I am still holding the cw or ccw
button down (in other words, it seems to pulse on for a second or so and
then stops and I have to actuate the cw or ccw button again). Is this
normal or should the rotor continue to run as long as I hold down the cw
or ccw button? Any tricks to get this thing calibrated? Thanks Rick
