[TowerTalk] Snow/rain static

It's my understanding that precipitation static is caused
my tiny arcs as the charged particles discharge when they
contact the antenna. The conventional way to reduce this is
to insulate the antenna. Easy to do with wires, impractical
with beams. It should also be possible to eliminate any DC
paths to ground and just let the charge build up on the
antenna. Not sure what the voltage would build up to but
I've also seen so-239's arcing across during a snowstorm!
