A question for owners of crankup towers-
I recently installed a US Tower TX-455 crankup. Based on advice from this
reflector I purchased several cans of a spray lubricant called PreLube 6
designed to lubricate wire rope from Champion Radio.
I have applied the spray liberally to all cables and pulleys.
My tower is located in the Philippines right next to Manila Bay which is has
a very corrosive atmosphere.
I would welcome any advice about how often I should apply the spray
lubricant to obtain maximum life from the tower cables. And also any tips on
its application.
Many thanks-Chuck Kresge DU3NXE du3nxe@mozcom.com
