[TowerTalk] Beverage question

I have two 580' or so beverages: one pointed toward EU from here (about 40
degrees) and one at JA (about 320 degrees). I am over very low conductivity
soil, and both antennas are well separated from towers and transmitting
antennas. Both slope about 40' from the feed point to the termination. Both
work very well. When I tried them as two wire beverages so I could reverse
the directions, they did not work well at all in the "uphill" direction.
Another nearby station with the same type of soil has similar beverages that
slope even more than mine (70 to 100') and they work well "downhill" also.
I am still trying to figure out how to cover the "reverse" directions with
other antennas like flags or pennants. YMMV.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Beverage question

Just curious.
Any experience/opinions on beverages on undulating or sloping terrain?
Or are they reserved for the flatlanders?
cheers and 73
