[TowerTalk] 80m small antenna

A friend lives in a townhouse (2 story) and got permission to "repaint" his
wooden fascia trim (light blue). We got a spool of 18ga. stranded (light
blue) insulated wire at Home Depot and drilled one hole through the outside
wall to the inner crawl space near the apex of the trim. Inserted about 5
feet of wire into the hole and stapled the wire to the fascia. As I went
around the house stapling wire to the fascia, he came behind painting all
the way. When I got to the starting place I drilled another hole about 3
inches from the first and inserted about 5 feet of wire into the inner crawl
space. Voilla! A closed loop, all around the house. Now going inside, place
a couple pieces of heat shrink tubing over the wire and solder some 450 ohm
windowline to the wires and then cover the joints with tubing and (heat)
shrink. Run the windowline through two holes similarly in the ceiling of the
shack up into the crawlspace and secure the joints in the crawlspace just
like the wires coming from outside. Windowline to balanced tuner. He works
all bands from 10-80m although on 10 and 12m it is very "tweaky". BTW the
process got no undue scrutiny by the neighbors. We were just "painting".
