There is a product made especially for this type of application. I have used
it for years for patching holes in wood trim, siding etc. (I am a Real
Estate Broker and sometimes we have to patch holes. Hi!!) It is called
Durhams rock hard water putty. It is a dry powder to be mixed with water.
Try hardware stores and similar retailers. It is a great product, very
inexpensive and works extremely well. Mixes to look like peanut butter,
dries quickly and is easily sanded.
Hope this helps. 73, Tommy WD4K

Subject: [TowerTalk] Question
I just took down my tower and beam as we are moving to a new QTH. I was
using a house mounting bracket which I now took off. We have siding on
our home, I was wondering what would be the best way to repair the
drilled holes in the siding? Thank you.
