Sorry Guys for the error.  That's what happens when it late at night.  At 
least no harm was done--not like the alleged error of mixing up British 
Units and Metric on the Mars Lander.

4. Should have read: is probably a POORER antenna for NVIS-----.

I was just summarizing some of my replies, not necessarily agreeing with all 
of them.

And Tom N4KG says a good transmission does not radiate.

HUH?

First, a good transmission line will NOT radiate so there should
be
NO vertical component.

Second, vertical radiation will be primarily at low angles,
NOT what you want for NVIS.
