[TowerTalk] Knots

Hi Tom. I use alot of 3/16 polyester Lehigh rope that I buy in Walmart
in 100 ft lengths, and it includes a pictorial on tying knots. I've
considered myself to be pretty adept at knot tying since Boyscouts, but
when I gave W4AN a hand with a beverage a few years ago he undid one of
my bowlines and put the two ropes we were tying together side by side
(at the ends), and just tied an overhand knot with the two, pulled the
ends tight and said they'll never come apart. He was right! 73 JACK
