Back about 6 years ago, I considered using one to set up a big rovermobile
for VHF and up.  There were a bunch of HD ones available as military surplus
for around 3k or so in mint/ anodized condition and used/non-anodized/OK
condx ones were going for as little as $500.  These were Will-Burt's built
to mil spec for small mobile comm shelters.
