I have used prop pitch motors,Yaesu G1000,Ham 4,and the RC2800P-A. All
have given good service. For the size antenna load you have, only the
prop pitch and RC2800 would handle it IMO. I have had the M2 for about 2
years. It is ruggedly built with a worm gear drive (no brake needed).
The mast clamp is extremely rugged and adjusts to various size masts.
You will not crack it. If you have questions or problems, a real person
will answer the phone and will help you. Mine had a small problem when I
received it. They sent a prepaid UPS mailing label as promised, checked
it out, and returned it rapidly. The direction indicator uses pulses
from a spinning magnet/reed switch. It is possible to install a
potentiometer in the unit for backup direction indication at nominal
cost and I had this done. You can get a set of parts to use this
controller on a prop pitch motor. And last, You can buy them at a
reasonable discounted price from Texas Towers. 73, Dan, N5AR
