The Machinery's Handbook shows schedule 40 two inch pipe has an OD of
2.375 inches and ID of 2.067 inches. This is the most commonly available
2 inch pipe but there are others. Schedule 80 pipe has an OD of 2.375
and an ID of 1.939. It appears that the OD of this pipe is constant
while the wall thickness needed to take the pressures (40kpsi and
80kpsi) is varied. 73, Dan, N5AR
