Hello Steve,

Your response - "Mr. R. Otto please spare us the great N and PL259
connector discussion. It has been flogged to death several times" -
sounds a bit arrogant.   I wasn't aware that we were not supposed to
discuss any topic on this list that has been discussed in the past -
only new topics that meet your needs or interest.

In the mean time, I asked the question because I genuinely wanted to
know the answer.  I have never used any equipment that uses an N
connector.  I'd like to buy a Diamond H700 antenna, but it doesn't
come with a PL259 connector, only the N connector.  I wanted to know
what buying one with the N connector would mean in terms of making
cables, etc., and whether I would be giving up something to use an N
connector.  Perhaps someone else could shed some light on this topic.
