bolts it to the top of the tower or the horizontal bolts that clamp the mast?

    The TB-3 is the 2-inch bearing, the TB-4 is the 3-inch bearing - go 
figure.

    These are fairly garden-variety bolts but it's helpful if they're 
galvanized or stainless steel. The mast-gripping ones rust out fairly 
quickly. I think the mast ones are 3/8" - length is about 3". You shouldn't 
ever have to replace the large flange bolts.    

    Sorry - you've got to climb the tower at least once. Get a couple of 
different sizes and take them all up with you so you've got all your bases 
covered. Swap them and descend; about a 10-minute job.
