When I was designing my station, several smart people advised against using
multiple half waves of 75-ohm hardline to my 50-ohm antennas because the
wide frequency excursions on 10m would result in bad things (though I don't
recall that SWR bandwidth reduction was among them).
I decided to try it anyway, and all I can report is that the SWR bandwidth
of my Force 12 C-3 at the shack end of the 220-ft feedline run is within
spec on 20-10 meters. Had it not worked out, a couple of UNUNs were wound
and ready, but the cores and wire will now revert to other service.
