We drug home 230 feet of Andrews 7/8 Heliax
from the hamfest. Set up test with 25 watt
signal on 146 mhz. Using Bird with proper 50
watt slug. Dummy was a heath cantenna.
Measured 25 watts into 230 feet of cable with
just shy of 20 watts out.
Are we in the ballpark for attenuation?
