[TowerTalk] Guys and self-supporting towers

Hi, all concerned:

I've used temporary guys for tramming and tower-steadying (nerves, you know)
while doing antenna work.

Is there a trap for the unwary in leaving these guys permanently attached,
other things being done properly?
