Hi, Art:
There are many knotholes through which e-mail must go. The wonder of the
system is not that it works poorly -- it doesn't -- but, like the bedspring:
that it works at all. I've sent follow-up e-mails in cases like yours, with
good results.
In any case, the cap to which you refer can be replaced by 'most any similar
motor-start cap (I use oil-filled types), from an elec-supply house, or
WWGrainger, et al. While you're at it, put the cap in something
weatherproof (I wrap them in tape) at the top of the tower, by the rotator,
and free up two wires in the cable for, eg, an antenna switch.
Don't beat on two good guys, pls. It's summer-vacation time, and the apple
of your eye does not always occupy the same prominence in another's eye.
