[TowerTalk] Which Transceiver?

Hi... Many thanks to all who have shared there advice
and experiences in my past post.  I had a brief chance
to play around with an Icom 756 Pro yesterday, but
wanted to know the general opinion of which modern day
transceiver "hears" well.  A transceiver can only be
as good as its receiver.  Thanks in advance for your
help.
