Just an add'l point:

I have an "el-cheapo" 7 amp power supply in my shack used for powering a few 
low-current items (cw keyer, tnc, HTX-202 for packet). After getting bit a 
couple of times, did some snooping with a meter only to find this unit had a 
2-prong plug and no ground. Replaced it with a new plug with a good ground 
connection to the chassis and have had no problems since.

It may be worth a look around to see if all your stuff, particularly that 
old faithful power supply way in the back collecting all the dust, really 
does have 3-prong plugs :-)
