[TowerTalk] Experience with Yaesu G-1000DXA Rotor?

Hi Karl,
I've been turning a Pro-67C-3 with the Yaesu G-1000SDX since '96 without any
problems. Although I am way over the K-factor of 2020ft/lbs with just the Mosley,
the rotator has performed flawlessly. I would move up to the new G-2800DXA for
that "little" extra insurance if I were you. I do have a little added weight and
windload in the 2m/70cm vertical on the same mast, but no other horizontal
elements to increase the loading on the rotator. While I can't say for the new
DXA series.....the SDX has been doing the job it was made for.
