[TowerTalk] Small Lots - Big Antennas

Great thread on small lot antennas, I have one data point to add.

Back in the day, say 70's and early 80's, Cam Pierce, K6RU (SK), used to do
multi-multi out of his 1/4 acre suburban lot.  If memory serves, he had four
Tristao tubular towers up, each with one monobander for 10-40 meters.
Cranked them all down most of the time, then up for the contests.  I don't
remember what he did on 80 and 160.  Cam was quite the filter expert, and I
don't remember much in the way of inter-station interference - amazing
considering that his lot was only about 90' wide.  We used to run the full
gallon on at least 3 bands simultaneously.  The moral of this story is that
if you have forgiving neighbors - you can do a lot on a little ground...
