I found a heatshrink tubing here that is used to cover electrical
connections for deep well pumps. It has a plastic material inside that
becomes a Gel like substance when heated. I used it last year to cover
the large beads on a balun and the coax end for a temporary multiband
dipole antenna. It has worked excellently and handles easily a KW.

This type of heatshrink tubing is commonly available here in hardware stores.
