At that price, you should at least get a manufacturers
certificate of compliance (from the people who made the
hardware - not Mosley) stipulating to its meeting some
minimum set of specifications (material type, tensile
strength, etc). Mil-Spec hardware is generally pretty
expensive. Mostly you are paying for the paperwork
that guarantees its pedigree and traces it back the
manufacturers processes and materials. If Mosley can't
provide traceability, then I suspect they are buying the
same potluck stuff you and I would get from the
local hardware store and charging as if it were otherwise.
