I thought of that a long time ago, but I've
never modeled it.  However, your premise
that "it works with coax" is somewhat
questionable.  It doesn't work all that
well with coax and you need a boatload
of ferrite cores.  You would need to determine
how many cores per foot are needed and
what they cost.  I think you might find
it is not cost effective.

Fair-Rite 73 material would be the best
choice, but there is way more 43 material
out there in the surplus market.  It all
comes down to economics.
