[TowerTalk] W2DU Balun's?

Rich,

There are a number of good commercial options. The ones that I would
recommend are the Cal-Av Labs series of "choke" or "current" ferrite bead
baluns: http://www.cal-av.com/ These baluns appear to be excellently
manufactured, well designed electrically, light weight and deliver the
"common mode impedance", "choke impedance", or "longitudinal impedance"
you'll need for most antenna installations. They deliver about 900 ohms
impedance from 160 meters on up past 10 meters. They are used as the stock
balun for Force 12 HF antenna products. I've used them for years with no
complaint and have confirmed the claimed impedance values in the laboratory.

Regards,

John Petrich
