Nat:

I've used a Klein Model 9483 belt since 1988 that was primarily designed for
tree trimmers. It has a padded 3 inch wide double sewn webbing around the
waist and a second heavy piece of webbing that fits just below the posterior
as a seat harness. The second piece of webbing is great when you have to
stand on a tower for long periods as it takes the weight off your legs and
knees. I also have a Klein Model #5492N5 adjustable 6-foot safety lanyard
that goes around/through the tower itself. Both are very similar to the ONV
belt and lanyard that are advertised nearly every month in QST.

No matter what belt and lanyard you buy I would advise also getting a
"gorilla" hook as a secondary safety attachment, that way when you're getting
ready to climb up or down you're still attached to the tower as your
unlatching your lanyard. That's just my opinion, others may say you don't
need the Gorilla hook device, but an extra bit of safety never hurts.

A number of companies sell Klein safety equipment. I bought mine new in Fort
Worth TX.
