As we have all heard me (and others) say before,
the only thing made of aluminum that you should put in the air is an
antenna.

Masts, towers, bolts, nuts, lock washers "in the air" need to be steel.

This discussion of Masts is quite timely for me.  I was planning on using
schedule 80 Aluminum pipe for a TH-3MKIII and perhaps a rotatable dipole for
17.  Should I consider one of HRO's steel masts?  Tom W6EIJ
