Yes I did. Thanks for the follow-up.
I finally had to disconnect the controller and give it
a couple of "shots" of Anti-Static spray.

Also, and I should have thought of this before hand....

I mixed up a 50/50 mix of Downey liquid fabric softener
and water in a spray bottle.

Now once a week I spray the carpet in the shack with
this solution. It works well....
I used to use this trick in the 70's/80's at customer sites
where they insisted on installing there systems in carpeted
areas.

Forgot all about that Downey thing. Could have save 
myself some grief..... Also, thought I'd pass that hint along
to others. Its simple and usefull.
