The cable manufacturer that I talked to recommended PreLube 6 which is
handled by <A HREF="http://www.championradio.com">Champion Radio Products</A>

You want a product that'll soak in and not leave any kind of film on the
outside that'll attract dirt and grit that'll cause wear in the cables. DO
NOT use any kind of grease - that'll trap water inside (Damage, ahoy).
