[Towertalk] Mast lowering/raising?

my favorite discovery is using an automotive jack with screw type drive for
boosting up a mast for rotor work.

I saw one at a flea market and picked it up for I think 5 bucks...

When standing atop the tower, the jack rests on  the top plate and you
finger tight walk the jack up until it hits on the underside of the boom of
your yagi....then... with my cordless drill and a few seconds of sheer joy
you watch the entire mast and antenna system raise up (or later lower down)
with your muscling anything...

Rotor swaps can be done complete in 15 minutes...assuming you don't drop any
bolts!
